How anjali is offered
- Bathe and wear clean or new clothes. Many people fast until anjali.
- Take flowers and bel leaves from the committee volunteers and hold them in your joined palms.
- Repeat each line after the priest. At “Esha sachandana…”, offer the flowers towards the Goddess's feet.
- This is done three times, then the pranam mantra with folded hands.
