…

Android phones and tablets

  1. Open dhakerbol.com in Chrome (best), Samsung Internet, Edge or Firefox. Not inside Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp's preview.
  2. Tap “Install” on the Dhaker Bol banner, or the ⋮ menu → “Add to Home screen” → “Install”. In Samsung Internet: ≡ → “Add page to” → “Home screen”.
  3. The app appears in your app drawer, opens full screen and updates itself.

Works on Android 8 and later, including Android 15 and 16. Huawei and HarmonyOS phones: use the Huawei Browser menu → “Add to home screen”, or Chrome if installed.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open dhakerbol.com in Safari (Chrome, Edge and Firefox also work on iOS 16.4 and later).
  2. Tap the Share button ⬆︎. On iOS 26 it may be under the ⋯ button at the bottom.
  3. Tap “Add to Home Screen”, keep “Open as Web App” on, then “Add”.

Opened from Instagram or Facebook? Tap ⋯ → “Open in Safari” first.

Windows, Mac, ChromeOS and Linux

  1. Chrome, Brave or Opera: click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or ⋮ → “Cast, save and share” → “Install page as app”.
  2. Microsoft Edge: ⋯ → “Apps” → “Install this site as an app”.
  3. Safari on Mac (macOS Sonoma or later): File → “Add to Dock”.

Firefox on computers doesn't install web apps; use Chrome or Edge, or bookmark the site.

Trouble installing?

“App not compatible” or “built for an older version of Android”

This warning comes from the app wrapper your browser creates, not from Dhaker Bol. Update Chrome (or Samsung Internet) from the Play Store, long-press the old Dhaker Bol icon and remove it, then open dhakerbol.com in Chrome and install again. Avoid installing from in-app browsers (Facebook, Instagram) or older browsers such as Mi Browser or UC Browser, which make outdated shortcuts.

No “Install” option in the menu

It's probably installed already: look in your app list. Otherwise make sure you're in Chrome and not in incognito, then reload the page once.

How do I update it?

You don't need to. The app updates itself whenever we publish something new; just open it while online.

How do I remove it?

Like any app: long-press the icon and choose Uninstall or Remove. On a computer, open the app and use its ⋮ menu → Uninstall.
