Blindfold game
Hari Bhanga: Break the Pot Blindfolded
In the para
Hari bhanga (breaking the clay pot) is a favourite at para games and fairs. A pot, sometimes filled with sweets or a small prize, hangs from a rope. The player gets one good look, is blindfolded and spun around, and then has to walk up and break it with a stick while the crowd shouts misleading advice. Here the pot swings on the rope, and you have to remember its rhythm.
How to play
- Watch the pot swing. Then you're blindfolded and spun round, so you no longer know exactly where you stand.
- Walk with ← → (or ◀ ▶, or tap the sides) while the crowd shouts directions. In Tricky mode some of them lie!
- Strike (space, the Strike button or tap the middle) when you think the pot is above you. You have a few seconds.
- Each pot hides a prize: rosogolla, coins, marigolds, a laddoo jackpot… or just water. Choose 3, 5 or 8 pots.
